Masker Orchards
Warwick, NY
Masker is a gorgeous 200 acre farm located in Warwick, NY with over 20,000 apple trees. The views at this orchard were stunning. There’s no reservations, although I recommend coming on a weekday to avoid crowds. A cool note: you can drive around the farm, right up to the trees! It’s $33 per bag of apples. Don’t forget to check out their cute country store before you leave!
Fishkill Farms
Fishkill, NY
Fishkill Farms is a gorgeous farm where you can go to a cider tasting, listen to live music, go on hayrides and more! This farm seems to be very popular so I would definitely go earlier in the season. Make reservations for the cider tasting and have a small charcuterie board to go with it! There’s also a farm store where you can buy apple cider, and bottles of cider to take home. Do they have apple cider donuts? Absolutely! Check it out below:
Outhouse Orchards
North Salem, NY
Outhouse Orchards is a popular place to go apple picking not too far from the city. What I love about this farm is the variety of things to do. Enjoy pumpkin picking, making your way through a corn maze, hay rides or take some stunning pics in their sunflower patch! There’s also an area to eat where you can buy wood fire pizza, wine, hard cider or pick up some goodies from their farm stand. (I got blueberry preserves, blackberry jam & fresh apple cider to take home as gifts.) Pro tip: If you want apple cider donuts, get on that line early, it gets pretty long! Reservations required (you only need 1 ticket PER car)
Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard
North Salem, NY
This family-owned orchard is a neighbor to Outhouse Orchards. Apple picking is from Sept. 11th- Oct 31st, reservations required on weekends. Enjoy live music, bbq lunch, farm-raised, grass-fed burgers or grab a drink from one of their 3 bars on site. Tix are $10 per person, children 3 yrs & younger enter free.
